Got a mail from the developer regarding Temper.nonstatic wrote: ↑Sat Feb 25, 2023 12:27 amAgree this dev should have more attention. After Vastaus they released Temper which also focused on the high end, but sadly it seems to have disappeared/been discontinued.osiris wrote: ↑Fri Feb 24, 2023 7:25 am https://wavegrove.gumroad.com/l/Vastaus
I don't know if anyone has posted this. I searched this forum & didn't find any hits. I tried this yesterday because I've been reading it's a free alternative to Soothe. I haven't used Soothe but I did try this and the effect is very good with minimal CPU hit. I think it does more high frequency taming/compression with no artifacts. I liked it.
A superb plugin btw. - based on concepts around hysteresis, working on the high end frequencies. Basically a pro-version of Vastaus with more bells and whistles. It has been "unreleased" for some further work... It is still in the works, and pretty much complete, and will come out at some point in time. Unfortunately no schedule yet.
Whenever I downloaded Wolfram as part of the CM pack, Comodo antivirus always quarantined it as a trojan/virus.
It usually is a commercial plugin.
