Is that tool available separately?ghettosynth wrote: ↑Sat Apr 01, 2023 2:00 am My delptronics boards came today. They are pretty nice and I like their simple tool for creating a gerber file for your panel. I haven't ordered a PCB in ages though so I'll probably get it wrong the first eight times. The appear to be totally worth it for RAW diy IMO.

Yeah it's right on their website. It's not a general tool, it's a simple tool that creates files that are compatible with their boards. So as long as your project fits in their general layout, then it will give you a basic panel. I really like raw prototyping, but I hate all the mechanical bits. Frankly, this is a cheap way to build up one-off modules.Shabdahbriah wrote: ↑Sat Apr 01, 2023 3:43 amIs that tool available separately?ghettosynth wrote: ↑Sat Apr 01, 2023 2:00 am My delptronics boards came today. The original kits that I got from Modular Addict were cheaper and didn't come with panels. That was on purpose, but I just ordered some more with panels from delptronics for pure one-off modules.

Been after a small mixer that lets me play music either to headphones or monitors from PC or devices like my phone or iPad via Bluetooth. Picked up one of these Citronic CSD-4 mixers from Cash Converters for £50 that should do the trick. Even has some onboard DSP effects as a nice bonus.

Electronic,
GAS Chronic.
Electronic,
GAS Chronic.
You will need a vocoder to record this properly. If you don't have one, the second best time to buy anything is right now!

I’d suggest using some kind of precision adder. some of them have octave and semi-tone offsets. From the top of my head, I think vpme.de’s T43 would be a good fit. I use CVilization for that kind of task.WatchTheGuitar wrote: ↑Fri Mar 31, 2023 1:41 pm So I got the Varigate 4+ the other day and although there’s a slider for scale - maj, min, pentatonic etc - but I can’t see any control or mention in the manual of a way to set root note to anything other than C. The varigate 8+ has a ROOT slider for tracks, but anyone know a fix on the 4+

There are a number of ways to skin the cat both pre and post Varigate, it’s just annoying that I can’t save a root note along with the presets you can save to the device.justin3am wrote: ↑Sat Apr 01, 2023 7:13 pmI’d suggest using some kind of precision adder. some of them have octave and semi-tone offsets. Anyone have an input on using MI’s Veils 2?
I’m looking at a Veils 2 clone for adding more VCAs or as a Mixer
Alternatively, there’s the Intellijel one and even Behringer’s Four Play which seems to be out of stock.

Amazon showed 4-play shippable from Japan some while back. I'll pass on that. Also, at the old price. I'm not sure that it's released in the U.S. proper yet. I haven't seen it anywhere.

I’ve got two Four Plays and they’re great.
Andertons in UK have 8 in stock at £79 each.

Maybe we'll get them soon. At $20 a VCA, with linear and expo, that's pretty hard to beat. Some folks were grumbling that it's a design clone of the intellijel module.WatchTheGuitar wrote: ↑Sat Apr 01, 2023 11:25 pmI’ve got two Four Plays and they’re great.
