Acoustic guitars with pick-ups, not microphones. Anyone uses a rig that produces warm clean tones ? So far I've tried some amps in MGuitarArchitect but they seem to be made for electric guitars with some kind of obvious saturation and/or distortion.

I have been using MCab as an IR loader inside Mxxxx. There's just no end to what can be done inside that rig...hth.../s~

Thanks ! That's exactly the path I needed. Using MXXX and MCab + a zillion signal enhancing and mixing possibilities is much more flexible than a MGuitarArchitect when it comes to acoustic guitars.

For something like that I wouldn't use an amp. Your best bet would most likely be starting with some compression, but you can set that to taste. From there add the EQ pedal and perhaps cut the mids and raise the bass and treble. Of course this will depend on your guitar and project. After that try some reverb or if you a slightly drier sound, but with space use the ER pedal. I hope that helps. You can also try the "acoustic resonance" Cabinet and see if that makes things sound better on your guitar, but I wouldn't use an amp.

Thanks. The signal from the guitar pickup passes through a hardware tube preamp (ART MPA II) and a hardware tube compressor (ART VLA II) so these two aspects of signal processing are basically covered for several uses. The Cabinets so far are a great addition to the sound although I'm asking myself whether I should use a pedal EQ which seems pretty much limiting instead of a full-fledged Melda (dynamic, multiband) EQ in MXXX instead. I have the impression (have to check it out fully) that MXXX would handle with much more details the acoustic guitar sounds. I mean, from what I can see MGuitarArchitect is excellent at electric guitars but for the fine details and harmonics, finger picking and muting, the processing options available in MXXX would allow to finely craft a sound for a given piece.
