Wow, this is exactly what I’d hoped they’d do! Weird I didn’t get an email about it...

Now that I've checked, I haven't received anything from Arturia--even nags--erm, "suggestions" that I upgrade to V6.c_voltage wrote: Sun Oct 28, 2018 5:30 amHm, i did get, mail from 12 october, called "Synclavier V version 2.0 adds resynthesis and sampling" (Arturia Newsletter)planetearth wrote: Sun Oct 28, 2018 5:17 amSame here. The same thing with the no-newsletter-issue occured with some other developers, too, e. g. our other French friend UVI.planetearth wrote: Sun Oct 28, 2018 5:37 amNow that I've checked, I haven't received anything from Arturia--evenc_voltage wrote: Sun Oct 28, 2018 5:30 amHm, i did get, mail from 12 october, called "Synclavier V version 2.0 adds resynthesis and sampling" (Arturia Newsletter)planetearth wrote: Sun Oct 28, 2018 5:17 amSame here. I had to send a query to their support to get the mail coming normally. Maybe the GDPR has messed their auto-mail, or something.
Its funny how little these great developers care about their marketing.

You should maybe take a look at your spam folder. Unless you are NOT on their mail lists, I believe the process is automated, which means that ANYONE in the mail list receives the newsletter. However, many servers spam filters cut this kind of emails automatically. It happened to me before.
The solution is to log in to the e-mail through the browser and check the spam folders. Just a suggestion.

I've discovered that it appears some ISPs blacklist mass mail outs/ alerts from certain sites. I sort of proved it by setting up two accounts on one site, setting them both to send me alerts and then finding alerts only arrived at one e-mail address.

I believe anyone who uses a bit more mail, check the spam always, in these cases. E. g. in the UVIs case, the support admitted error in their system.
So, its not always in the users end, although this seems to be common default assumption.

OK, I was making a suggestion
Anyway, this thread is running for a couple of weeks already.
And yes, it is a fantastic upgrade, which carries Synclavier V to a whole new level. IMO, it is currently the "biggest star" or "MVP" of the Arturia V Collection

I think that's the case here. It's not even in my on-line e-mail "junk" folder, where some things are kept without even being sent to my mail client.ChamomileShark wrote: Sun Oct 28, 2018 10:38 am I've discovered that it appears some ISPs blacklist mass mail outs/ alerts from certain sites. Then again, I had to ask Applied Acoustics Systems to put me back onto their mailing list three times, because their system kept deleting me. They found out it was on their end, not mine.
But this is also why I check KVR so often--to find out what deals I may have missed!
And yes, this is a cool update, and I really appreciate it from Arturia.

Not entirely. The Regen currently lacks the resynthesis. There is a comparison between the Regen & V2 in this video.rubez wrote: Wed Apr 05, 2023 4:25 pm If I bought Regen hardware desktop synth is it basically the same as this VST?

I didn't know about the Regen hardware until just now. It looks interesting, but too expensive for me.

I was replying to the question posed today.
The other difference is that the Regen supports multisamples, not something that of particular interest for me.
Apart from the price I'm a bit put off by the swiper, I'd worry about it wearing out and it seems it sometimes needs multiple swipes to do stuff.
