it shows an error... in the plugin overview, it says effect, in the plugin info, it says synth... and it is impossible to change anything

For those interested .
I also purchased the electribe for my iphone and can now say that the ipad-iphone -vst all sound identical .
Altough there are a few differences .
Ipad has the tube as a global stereo out fx , not as an insert , and fewer affects ( comp )
The vst has the tube as an insert fx , and some additional fx as compressor ,you can also set the overal output gain
Iphone has none of the above .
Dsp wise they all sound identical .

Back in 2000 I got a Korg Triton Rack when I still had my hardware studio. I kept it until 2014 when I finally went PC. But it was always my favorite workstation and missed not having it. When it came out a couple years ago as a VST, as much as I wanted it, I didn't want to spend $200 on it. Funny, cause I spent over a grand on the rack mount.
Anyway, as a Korg Legacy owner, when I saw I could get the Triton and all that other stuff that I didn't have for $199, I was in. So the other day, I picked up the collection.
Korg was always my favorite developer. I can't even begin to tell you how many of their synths I owned, from the Poly 61 to the Wavestation to, well, you name it. It's all gone now. But I have some of it back in the form of soft synths and, quite honestly, I can't tell the difference, especially the Wavestation. Boy does that bring me back.
Looking forward to trying out some of the synths I never did own. Couple of things, like the Kaospad, I have no idea how to use, but I'm sure there are enough Youtube videos out there to get me through it.
A proud Korg owner since 1984 when I bought my Poly 61.

Anyone witha hardware prophecy to check out the following .
When feeding a ramp wave through the waveshaper set to sine , there are artifacts appearing at zero crossings , small spikes across the zero crossing .
NO luck adjusting the offset
I guess this is basically because the ramp wave is antialiased

NIce
Two waveshapers in serial , only enable ws 2 in mixer .
First WS ( dry and wet out to zero ) set to clip and input from ramp osc 1 , second WS to sine .
Using the cross feedback of the 2nd WS to take the output of the first WS .
Result: sine pulse width modulation , just using one single ramp osc .
Too bad the sample spikes are still there but we can reduce them by softening the ramp waveform using edge

What is this deal going on for first time users for the entire collection at 299$?
I already have M1 and Wavestation.
Can I take advantage?
Doesn't look lile it but want to check..

I think you would have a discount if you have M1 light license that comes free with some hardware. You might able to find it in the 2nd hand market here (Sell & Buy forum) for little money $5 to $10.yul wrote: Fri Dec 23, 2022 1:25 am What is this deal going on for first time users for the entire collection at 299$?

Korg Collection 3 - summer 2021
Korg Collection 4 - autumn 2022
Maybe it's high time to start speculating what will be included in the 5?
I think the Kaossilator is a given, since they have the framework for the Kaosspad.

Yeah I also owned a couple of standalone plugins but there was no loyalty discount for me. It was the same when Collection 3 came out. Kind of weird that M1 LE gives you a discount but not the full M1.yul wrote: Fri Dec 23, 2022 1:25 am What is this deal going on for first time users for the entire collection at 299$?

I caved in and bought the full Collection 4 for $299 during the sale even though that meant buying some plugins twice. There was enough new stuff added, and it should hopefully make it cheaper to upgrade to Collection 5 in the future if I want.
Personally I'm hoping for a Poly-800 and Radias in the next release.
Take a single oscillator, producing a drone. Send it to the wave shaper, altering the tone.
This can be a triangle, Sawtooth or a square. Modulate the pulse width, nobody will care

Hopefully the Z1 since their Prophecy is nearly there anyway

Not trolling you here, but why the Poly800? My only memory of that was back in the 90s when I used a mk2 I think and all I remember what how weak I felt it sounded. But I was an unpolished snotty brat back then who knew nothing about anythingAdvancedFollower wrote: Thu Apr 06, 2023 7:24 am Personally I'm hoping for a Poly-800 and Radias in the next release.

Full Bucket Music has a very authentic Poly 800.... for donation or free depending on your circumstances. Björn has done a great job filling in the gaps Korg has left.
Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and even Deezer, whatever the hell Deezer is.

Give us an enhanced DSS-1/DW8000 emulation, dammit! RADIAS would be nice too.
