Arturia LX24 Reverb - Intro price of €69 instead of €99.
If you have other products you may see a different price when logged in. I have FX Collection 3 and my price is €29

FX Collection 4 is around the corner, probably June 2023. But even if you buy Rev LX-24 now, it should provide a better upgrade deal for FX Collection 4.
It is important to note that Dist COLDFIRE is not yet included in any FX Collection, so at least it and Rev LX-24 are the two new additions for version 4 that we know of now. I am ignoring Filter MS-20 here as it was given away for free some time ago, but it should also be included of course.
Rev LX-24 is sounding pretty nice by the way in the Arturia videos.

Are plugin makers in a liquidity crunch? I feel like the deals lately are pretty wild but I've only been actively purchasing plugins for the last year or so. The sheer amount of stuff I was able to get for $1500 is crazy and I would of been willing to probably pay 5x as much, there really is nothing left for me to even buy unless I want slight variations of the same things. Anyone else expecting insano black friday deals this year?

I think you're in the honeymoon phase. I felt like that when I started buying my stuff legitimately and purchased way too much. There is a lot of competition so a product has to be unique and really good to justify a high price (Spectrasonics). Otherwise the price has to be low enough that people are willing to buy it despite not really needing something. Having said that, there are some plugins out there that are both cheap and very good.Gavincoolguy wrote: Wed Apr 05, 2023 8:59 pm Are plugin makers in a liquidity crunch? I'm not expecting any insane BF deals. They've felt quite lackluster to me, but BF gives you time to think about what you need and you can expect to buy things at reasonable prices.

Absolutely there is a ton of overlap. Before I purchased anything I tried to segment each aspect of production and sound design so that I had minimal overlap. Also i make no money with music and never plan to so things like. UVI, VPS, U-he, Fabfilter, Sonible I all consider professional tools that are hard to justify if you are unable to monetize what you create. If you are able to say, I choose this company for analog flavor, this company for modern eq, this company for synth emulation, this company for modern synth workstation this one daw etc you would have a hard time overspending or overlapping. In the world of guitars I would of spent more on a single amp to get a single sound and would still need to purchase most of the other stuff if I wanted to get serious. So in that regard I think just about everyone has a fully competent total bundle that if you are just dipping your toes is the best value the world has ever seen because we've reached an inflection point of, cheap compute, cheap code, legacy products that are good enough to last a musician a lifetime. I guess my question really was, has there ever been a time in music where you could have access to so many competent tools at such a low price point with a computer in every room to run it all? I think not. We are also in a period of cash desperation, did you take a loan in the past 5 years? did you merge? did you acquire? if yes you are probably desperate for cold hard cash right now.

I'm actually in culling mode to reduce my plugins. I was going crazy for a while buying all sorts of stuff due to sales and user recommendations, but now I have so much that I'm more in culling to reduce my choice set to the stuff I really like. I'd guess there are lots like me who now realize it can take way longer to use them properly (if I use them at all) than it does to collect them. I had the idea that I needed lots of varieties and choices, but learning maybe not for songwriting usage I do. So my spending has gone way down. Not sure how typical I am across the industry.Gavincoolguy wrote: Wed Apr 05, 2023 8:59 pm Are plugin makers in a liquidity crunch? January and February had fewer promotions than usual. Maybe companies are making up for lost revenues. Also, I’m surprised more of them aren’t jumping on this absolute gift Waves has handed them.

I've got Legend and MiniMonsta2...I reckon Legend probably is better. But I do like MiniMonsta2gifyku wrote: Thu Apr 06, 2023 1:57 pm Of the GForce plugins, which one is an absolute must have? I am tempted by Minimonsta 2 but reviews seem to indicate that Legend is probably still slightly better

I'm guessing he's referrign to the bad publicity with their subscription rollout and subsequent back pedalling.
