Bear in mind that is a very limited emulation, namely the "all buttons in" mode of a 1176. Which is... intense, and not all that useful as a compressor in my opinion. In fact, IK themselves suggest using it in parallel, just a tiny bit to "add some mojo and fatness" (or something along those lines).

Yeah, for real! So good. And it has oversampling too, unlike OTT. I might buy the Premium Edition of the Deelay to support this dev.digitalboytn wrote: Wed Apr 05, 2023 8:40 amYes....that's a good one...

Wow...Cramit is fantastic. I've replaced MV2 and OTT with SCULPT. It's got a lot of features but once you get your head wrapped around it, it easily starts replacing the aforementioned.

There's a little bit of magic inside Cramit...
It sounds so good on everything

Cramit and DYNASTIA seem good!...
I feel good developer spirit in both plugins.

Audio Damage, Inc. (@audiodamage)We have deprecated Grind. 1.1.0 will be the final version, and it is now freely available on our Free & Legacy page. The iOS version will be free as well, but can not be updated.

Thanks. That's interesting though, I assumed the legacy plug dump was a one off but if they're going to continually retire old plugs to that page... Reafir - in compressor mode - is a perfectly fine free alternative to soothe. I use it in mastering all the time to smooth out harshness.osiris wrote: Fri Feb 24, 2023 3:25 pm https://wavegrove.gumroad.com/l/Vastaus
I don't know if anyone has posted this. I searched this forum & didn't find any hits. I tried this yesterday because I've been reading it's a free alternative to Soothe. I haven't used Soothe but I did try this and the effect is very good with minimal CPU hit. I think it does more high frequency taming/compression with no artifacts. I liked it.

It refuses description, allowing only the vague approach of adjectives: dark, light, raw, angelic. Who or what is making these noises? Where are they coming from and what do they point to? What kind of entity can leave such a troubling sonic remnant?
