I'm guessing he's referrign to the bad publicity with their subscription rollout and subsequent back pedalling.

He meant that/why other developers are not taking advantage of this situation and doing more sales, that people buy into them, because Waves put them off as customers.

Of the GForce plugins, which one is an absolute must have? I am tempted by Minimonsta 2 but reviews seem to indicate that Legend is probably still slightly better

I'm only a hobbyist and am mainly a guitar/bass player, but G-Force's Oddity is a synth that I like to pull out for songwriting. I like the sounds/presets. I have the older version - they've updated to version 3. Big caveat though, is I'm not a real keyboard player, so big grain of salt - I just like how it sounds w/ mostly presets.

Total Studio Max is just the name of a bundle. It includes (nearly?) everything at the time the bundle was released.

Confusingly it’s not like you get new versions with total studio max 4. It’s just an updated bundle which includes all the products released since 3.5

So a big chunk of 3.5 is identical to total studio max v4. I’ve not gone into it with a fine tooth comb but I think v4 includes newer versions of MODO Bass and Drum, an extra AmpliTube 5 pack, an few ST4 libraries and a few extra T-racks modules.

you’re not getting newer versions of T-Racks, AmpliTube, MixBox etc.

And annoyingly IK don’t keep your ‘bundle’ updated in any fair way.

You get $50 off the update price if you have TSMax 3.5 but you’d get pretty much the same price if you have any other max bundle such as T-Racks and use some jam points. Because IK won’t let you use the $59 AND the ‘loyalty’ points you have ‘earnt’ together.

So yeah. 3.5 is basically a pretty good deal but be prepared for no reasonable way of upgrading in the future. And make sure you download all the sounds in the first 180 days as they’ll charge you more if you need to download anything after that.

if you buy it be prepared to be pissed off with IKs upgrade policies in the future. Oh and the install process, especially with the Sampletank sample libraries, will have you tearing your hair out. It’s a mess.

Other than that? Good deal

I got the same impression. Searched for easter eggs all over their site last evening... and didn't find anything. And then I thought to myself "Well, UJAM... if you really believe, I'm gonna spend hours of searching on your site, you're as wrong, as you could probably be. You keep your 50% and I'm going to keep my money and spend it somewhere else."

Frustrate potential customers, who are willing to pay, till they leave. This has to be one of the most stupid marketing campaigns, I've seen so far.

it could be your browser ive just logged in and im using microsoft edge..click to full screen in your browser and you might see a easter egg pop up in the bottom corner ,quickly click on it and you get a 50% off voucher code..i just did it.
i tried it on my phone didnt see anything and same with the browser it was only when i clicked on full screen did i see it.

too be honest though theres nothing much i want..theyve put all the prices up so even with discount most items are still more expensive than they usually are
