Let's be honest: Arturia would stop if they thought it was hurting sales. I bet a clear majority of their users love their UI's and how "real" they look and how they make people "feel like they're using the real gear". I think it's a big detriment to functionality personally, but I'm sure it helps drive sales or else they'd change.

I can accept the UI of the actual hardware unit, they need to instill some level of reality illusion in our minds, but adding the desk and a keyboard, with a pair of headphones and a bunch of stuff lying around the desk, dude what even!?
They could've spend that time instead working on their plugin load times and cpu usage, but I guess a fake desk takes priority..

They don't adjust the width of the GUI's and the aspect ratio used in the Advanced mode doesn't fit with the dimensions of the LARC. So they decided to "spice up" the LARC page rather than leave it blank.musicproducerdee wrote: Fri Apr 07, 2023 3:20 pm I can accept the UI of the actual hardware unit, they need to instill some level of reality illusion in our minds, but adding the desk and a keyboard, with a pair of headphones and a bunch of stuff lying around the desk, dude what even!?

Not the choices I would've made if it was my company/taste, but it's not, and it works for them. I kinda get it.

You don't need to use that UI- the modern one is more more efficient anyway.martiu wrote: Fri Apr 07, 2023 3:41 pm the UI with the desk and stuff is ugly, fix it Arturia, do it now

also whats up with the cpu usage, it uses double the amount of rev intensity and 7 time eventide black hole, Arturia are slowly going into the worst efficiency plugins category ever, the loading time also because of the 50 000 png images per plugin

I appreciate how your critique of the GUI went above and beyond to criticize the sound of the headphones shown on the desk on the GUI. That's really next level stuff!

Since it’s just a loose png file, you can Photoshop it or put something completely different in its place. Just be sure to make the replacement image the same dimensions and has the same file name.
You can find the images here:
Mac : Library > Arturia
Windows : C:/ProgramData/Arturia

Now...just save a copy of that somewhere because it will probably be overwritten any time you update.martiu wrote: Fri Apr 07, 2023 4:57 pm i like it now![]()
