For me it actually adds to the feeling that I now have the real thing, because I already have the real K240 headphones next to me.Funkybot's Evil Twin wrote: Fri Apr 07, 2023 4:44 pm I appreciate how your critique of the GUI went above and beyond to criticize the sound of the headphones shown on the desk on the GUI. That's really next level stuff!![]()

When listening to some of the very short reverb presets, I can hardly hear the difference with the dry sound. I guess they have a function, just not for me.

Simple question, and no I haven't demo'd: Can you automate the distance control and get a smooth response?

Psst… this applies to almost everything around here.Ah_Dziz wrote: Fri Apr 07, 2023 7:16 pm I still like the NI reverb for this kind of thing. The demo didn't change my mind. It's just as good. Not really noticeably better at all.

I just tried it. The animation of the slider moving looks a bit 'choppy', but I don't hear anything wrong with the playback.ghettosynth wrote: Fri Apr 07, 2023 7:05 pm Simple question, and no I haven't demo'd: Can you automate the distance control and get a smooth response?

Nice reverb, but I have so many nice reverbs already. I’ll just wait until it’s part of the fx bundle.

Wonderful in my opinion...love at first listen...this might now be my best reverb...and I've listened to quite a few. I love the GUI too...but then I grew up during that era of floppy disks
.
For Hive 2 owners out there, disable the built in reverb and then try something like the Ambient Soundscapes preset with a slow attack and the Arturia LX-24 set to "Small Hall A" with 16sec Decay.

There are 3 modes: 12, 24 and modern. The 12 mode is only a 12-bit converter and very noisy. That's what you're hearing. Just change modes.Passante wrote: Sat Apr 08, 2023 12:48 am The preset "Atmos" emits constantly white noise sound. It stops when you select the 24bit converter. Surely this must be a bug?

The Lexicon 224 isn’t the most realistic reverb by any stretch, but it is THE sound of “reverb” if you know what I mean.

Sounds great, and you have a lot of control.
Just a minor thing - I wish better organization of the presets, e. g. grouping those in obvious categories according to the size, or by corresponding parameter. Nice bunch of presets but finding a good starting point by guessing the type of the preset of the random preset name isn't practical.

I have the same headphones that are shown on the UI, so I keep knocking my monitor off the desk when I try to grab them
