A Macbook Air is indeed a (very) nice machine (especially with the Apple Silicon processors), but there may be many reasons for choosing a Windows PC over a Mac for audio, hence this topic to try to
fix performance issues that may happen on Windows.

Then your advice is utterly worthless. The reason a max is less trouble is because there is nothing you can do to improve it because Apple know what's best and if that doesn't suit you, you can f**k right off as far as they're concerned.

A MacBook Air with the same config as my Asus ROG Flow Z13 would cost me $400 more and almost certainly have lower performance and stability. It wouldn't run several applications I rely on to earn my living, it has fewer ports than the minimum number I require (one of which already has a hub on it, thanks) and it wouldn't even have a touch screen, in 2023 FFS! You'd have to have rocks in your f**king head.
