Hey guys.
Back in version 7 you guys showed me how to increase I/O in Mux by adding some text to the main setup file.
I tried the same for V9 plugin. It didnt work. I suspected as much because Mux was in the text.

Can this be done in the same manner?
Thanks

    Oh well
    Spoke too soon.
I increased the inputs on both effect and instrument to 10 in the Mulab 9.1.0 preferences.
Reaper 6.77 sees the new inputs and outputs but no audio shows up on the additional channels.

My routing works as expected on the JS 8 channel mixer included in Reaper so I feel the routing is correct.

I created a simple 6 channel line mixer with meters in Mulab to test the routing. The issue persists.

Can someone open the attached Reaper project to verify my findings?

The 6 channel mux is included in the zip. I used mudrum 909 on track two to generate the audio. It sends a stereo out on 3/4 5/6 7/8 9/10 to the mixer on track one
I did not use 1/2 because Reaper automatically passes that on to the master out.
You will need to increase the inputs in the preferences of Mulab 9 as I did.

    I am using Windows 7

    Thanks

Did you restart Reaper, rescan MuLab Plugin and reinstanciated MuLab Plugin?

Yes, I should have included that info in my post. Really hoping it is something I missed somewhere like that.

Hi, your Mux has only one audio output:
    SingleOut.jpg
You need to add five missing outputs - on mux level and then on project level:
    MultiOut.jpg
It may also be necessary to add an additional 5 audio inputs on project level

Hey Robert.. .this begs the question....Is mulab plugin the same as the old Mux. If so the above is redundant. I was under the impression we could have simple instruments or effects with out evoking the whole mulab daw.
I do however see on the window tab where it says Vsti Mulab 9 plugin (synth) (Mutools) (4->8ch) Track 1
Which would make what you are saying make more sense.

Also note where Reaper sees the 10/20 inputs.

Well I Set that up. Issue persists. Seems I would also have to remake my front panel if I want it to open without having to click on the in line mixer module in the Mux. This cant be intended IMHO.

Open the attached Reaper project, but first (to avoid confusions) set MuLab I/O preferences:

Number of Inputs 16, Number of Outputs 16 (both - MuLab Plugin Synth AND MuLab Plugin Effect).

It's important because the Mixer is loaded as Plugin Effect (not a Synth). You should see something like this:
    Routing.jpg
It works fine on my system:
    MuLab_Multi_In.jpg
    Here is the Reaper file:

    Thanks for you time Robert.
    It works.
Even if I only have one output.
I also changed the routing to my original.
    It still worked.
I moved Mudrum to track 2 and set up 4 sends on different inputs.
    It still worked.

I am still trying to wrap my head around how and why yours is the mixer inside a project and mine is just the mixer by itself. Surley that is the difference as you stated earlier.

Your original Mixer Mux was loaded by default as Vst Synth instance (not an effect) on my system. This couldn't work properly as Reaper was passing both audio signals (Mu Drums AND Mixer) to it's outputs.

I saved the Mixer as a project template, removed the synth instance, loaded the effect instead, opened Mixer project template (as an effect - not a synth) and made some adjustments.

    Holy s@!$#......
I just now realized I have two Mulab 9 plugins. A VSTi and a VST.
I had been using the VSTI for everything.
Never looked for the VST before today.
