If nothing cool gets announced this year, I am torn between buying a Rev 2, Take 5, or PolyBrute when I have the money. I may also consider a Linnstrument 128 for my bday this summer.

Because it would fit in my backpack, and I am moving for a PhD program this Fall. Besides, it's cheaper.

Intellijel Cascadia looks pretty cool, but it's not something that interests me, especially not at over $2K...

I get it through various vender mailing lists. Perfect Circuit showed off a few things in the email, not very much that interests me though. Certainly no big polys though, and that's what I was hoping to see.

Compared to Eurorack, it's decent value at that price point for the features. In particular, that one oscillator has through-zero FM with either DC or AC coupling is great and sorely missing in other products. I really like the mix of east coast and west coast, however, it needs one more filter. A simple fixed HP/LP or a LPG would really elevate this.

Will I spend $2k+ on it, unlikely. I hate little box routing. I have had too many little boxes and arranging and patching them gets on my nerves. I like things to be fixed in a rack with everything else in a rack and the form factor does not use rack space well. I do not want to use up rack space with a cable hanger.

But, I think that it's an excellent form factor for a semi, looks really well built, and I think that it has a really nice architecture. Does it make me drool, yes, just not enough to crack open my wallet at the moment.

Oops: On Edit: I see that it does have a second LPF which is a LPG. Ok, the drool level is increasing now.

yup, was hoping to go, still could i guess, but finances aren't great, so id rather buy something than do a trip, see lots of great stuff, but have spent all my money on seeing not buying

Most of the early NAMM videos I’ve seen suggest it’ll be the last one ever as no-one, dealers or punters, want to go anymore.

Thanks to Turnlab my STVC came today. Had my eye on it for a few years but had more important needs until now. Sounds great and satisfies two needs I had. Going to have to get a USB hub or something because the left side of me is furthest from the computer and it wants to be connected via USB.
