MDrummer automation of Break Interval

For a piece I'm writing, sometimes I want the break interval to be 4 bars, sometimes 6, sometimes 8. In the help section of the Edit module in the Rhythm Editor, I read "This parameter can be automated" under Break Interval.

But I can't find how to do this. In Digital Performer, when I go to insert automation, I get a very very lengthy list of parameters that are exposed, but I don't see "Break Interval" or anything like it. These are the same parameters I see internally in MDrummer when I look at the list of target parameters for MIDI - there also, no Break Interval as a target.

Am I missing something? It would be very useful to be able to automate this, though of course I can just go through and add breaks where I want them.

I quite don't follow - if you are composing something, then you are triggering everything manually, so what am I missing here??

Oh I am just lazy, if I want a fill every 4 bars but then there's a 48 bar section where I want a fill to happen every 8 bars, I want to just automate the change rather than record it in every 8 bars. Eventually of course I'd print the MIDI and do some customization, but while working this would be a nice workflow for me.

In any case, is the documentation correct, and if so, how do I automate it? And if the documentation is incorrect, probably it should be corrected...

It's quite probable that it has been removed long time ago, because it didn't make much sense, well, sort of apparently . Anyways I'm afraid if it's not there, then it's not there, I'll check the docs.
