Funny
Now I clearly see the project modular area and why I would need to add inputs. It has always been there but I only worked in the mux modular window.

I do think the Vsti (synth) will work also as long as I add inputs at the project level.

Another crazy bit of info... I just found the MUX vst. I have only used the Vsti........for everything for years. Duh

This has been an education.
Thanks again
We jumped the fence because it was a fence not be cause the grass was greener.

Vsti didn't work for me - the audio level was boosted to 200% because Reaper does parallel processing when two synths are placed on the same track/channel. I couldn't fully mute the audio signal using the Mixer volume knob alone - only 50% of it.

It worked for me but the mixer and Mudrum were on seperate tracks and I sent audio starting on inputs 3/4 because reaper passes audio on 1/2 to the master by default.

I see. Maybe it didn't work for me as I changed the routing for the testing purpose. Anyways, Vst and Vsti means you've got two plugins for the price of one :D
