Hope he is OK and nothing serious…
He is usually active on multiple forums but, seems to silent for unusually long time…
I wish there was a way for other users to contribute data to the site.

An "unverified" tag for plug-ins that get updated with Apple silicon support and are put into the database by another person could be useful until the site owner actually marks it verified to confirm that it does actually have compatibility.
In worst case scenario, can the existing database be transferred to new one created and maintained by someone else?

Yeah. Then I can sit back and troll him.

Seriously. The world won't end if the database isn't updated faster. I'll get to it. But I'm a full time CIO, grandfather of 4, planning for a conference where I am giving a paper, planning for my daughter's wedding, working on a summer play, researching for a book, and the end of the school year (I still have two kids at home).

The reverse should tracked right now: which plugins are NOT compatible.

Yeah yeah we get it, you’re busy. No one is saying the world will end if the database isn’t updated right away. We’re just saying that it’s been a while since it’s been updated and brainstorming different ideas about the website.

This is also a good idea.

Lostin70s plugins all seem to be Native Apple Silicon.

I can personally attest to DevilSpring and Harmonus.
I installed both, and they both showed up in native Studio One.

FYI: I decided a while ago that I'm not posting iPad apps. There are many of them that will run on a Mac now, but I just don't think they're that relevant. They are all Logic/Garage Band only since they require AUv3.

FYI- Live also supports Auv3.

But adding the ones that run on Mac would be more than tiresome to sort out as there are sooooo many iPad apps. I think it would just add a lot of clutter to the database. Anyone running them can easily look in the App Store for details on any audio app/plug in.

Major update: the Kush plugins are finally rolling out to Apple Silicon native with a public beta taking place. Kush users should've received an email.

So far we've got:

Bliss 1.2.0b1
Novatron 1.2.0b2
Electra 1.7.0b1

...with more coming.

with this Kush roll-out, i've been able to test my Cubase 12 projects with native plugins.
Really, i'm yet to see a performance increase. At 256 samples, using internal Macbook Pro speakers, Silicon and Rosetta were about even. At 512 samples Rosetta was ahead by a good 1/8th of a CPU meter.
You know, been waiting so long to go native, and now i just don't see the point. Loosing a shit ton of creative little plugins for f**k all performance increase. Of course i will test soon with my RME interfaces, but with the internal card, with which i'm doing a good chunk of my work, i'm failing to see the point.
These new M1 machines are so good even just using Rosetta mode, the performance is stunning, they don't run too hot, they're quiet, responsive. All this hoo haa about native and i'm a bit over it.

Try testing with lower latency

going lower than 256 chews more CPU. Which is the opposite of what i'm aiming at running native silicon. PLUS, I've discovered the silicon version of Cubase is crashing a shit ton. I very rarely ever have a crash in Rosetta mode. I give up. I'm sticking with Rosetta.

Big asaudio database update!
Nice :tu:

It looks like IK TONEX is still missing though.
