Because it is much easier to read a file then to write it. Which is easier and faster do you think, to read or write a whole book?

Perhaps it's your turn to **** around in order to find out, not Adam's?

I got Virus hardware just curious if soundbanks were compatible - no OK.

Maybe even thought the VST could be an editor - no OK.

Not official but clearly based on the Virus.

What do you mean by NO Ok?

Are you expecting all VSTs which are based on some instrument to be an editor or to be TOTALLY compatible?

Viper is compatible, just not TOTALLY. I assume you don't get how much efforts have been applied just to implement the bank import.

For TOTAL compatibility, use the TOTAL INTEGRATION of Virus TI.
If you can't stand Viper not being an editor or 100% Virus firmware recreation, just get a chill pill and move on.

in the following link i will share my collection of more than 15000 .fxp files for Viper directly converted from an old hardware SDK tool for viper also known as Acess virus...

https://www.dropbox.com/s/8xfcfbgzmzdke ... s.zip?dl=0

if i converted all the patches from virus i have in my colection i think it could go near the 30000 presets, but 15k is allready a number that you will find hard to even mess with it.

i also apologize in advance for some excentric identified patches, but aparentlly some artists are indeed crazy (yes, i mean you... mr Charlie May xD)

Man I almost forgot about this synth since moving fully vst3. It's the only one left for me except imposcar2 (soon to be v3 I'm sure). But it's one of the best sonically imo.

Vst3 is being looked at, hopefully I can include it in the new update that I am working on, if not, then maybe in the next update.

Really? Why would you arbitrarily impose that kind of restriction on yourself? I could understand if VST3 actually made a difference to anything but it doesn't, so why would you care?

Certain DAWs are dropping VST2 support (for non-technical reasons). Users can switch plugin formats, switch DAWs, or never update any of their software ever again. Each of these options comes at a cost. Some are worse than others for different individuals' workflows.
I hate signatures too.

When they drop VST2 support is the time to go all-in on VST3. Until that time, why would you do that to yourself? I learned my lesson with 64 bit - I had to leave so much behind and gained f**k-all in return - if my host of choice ever drops VST2 support, I'll be dropping them like a hot stone.

Adam, thanks so much for Viper; it really sounds great.

I do have a quick question: how does one change skins in 1.1.0? If I missed this, please forgive me.
