I'm dreading the switch from Win 10, but support ends Oct 2023. I hate Win 11S on my wife's laptop. I will be sorely pissed if Win 11 screws up my MuLab program and projects etc.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I'm on win11 never had any issues with MuLab, or anything else tbh. I actually found I had more problems with Windows 10!first file associations stopped working, then an update destroyed my pc! Linux would run fine on it but Windows refused to install saying memory issues. In the end the continued efforts to reinstall windows destroyed the motherboard and then Linux wouldn't even run on it.

Didn't have real problem with win10 , win11 should work to. Most problem are coming from plugins.
I made folder for 32bit , 64bit and vst3 / clap for reaper test until compatible with MuLab. Sharing different plugin release in same folder or with same daw is a bad idea.

This is a very stupid question. Windows 11 is the current gen. Why wouldn't a software work on it. It's a great os. You remind me of those ppls who stayed on win 7 well in win 10 life time. It so dumb. New windows? You update.

In specialized situations like running a home or commercial studio you are dealing with a very different situation than casually using the OS to essentially use the Web Browser, Media Players or make a few office docs.. If you have a functional Studio setup I'd suggest you would want to be very careful about updating a fully supported OS. Windows 10 is still fully supported and is still suited to a lot of legacy hardware out there, updating a perfectly good Studio setup to Windows 11 'just because' strikes me as err....uhm... 'dumb' (your words not mine..Masterofdisaster wrote: Thu Apr 20, 2023 5:14 pm This is a very stupid question. Windows 11 is the current gen. Why wouldn't a software work on it. It's a great os. I just gave up on W10 because of that over and over. 8.1 was the best middle ground for me between the new and old flaws of every windows release. I'm finally going to try W10 again NOW, because Brave browser Chrome wants W10 to keep running my Brave-coin app. And now that its retired, every update that keeps breaking compatibility with everything, should finally be frozen and finalized. Maybe I'll give W11 at try in 6 or 7 years from now.sl23 wrote: Thu Apr 20, 2023 5:41 am ...first file associations stopped working, then an update destroyed my pc! ...
