Oh, if I'm not mistaken this thing is a joke. It's a pure GUI doing nothing. Hence it's marketing of sounding so INVISIBLE. :D

Havent check it though, but look at it's parameters :D

There's apparently a crime story behind the development of this:

I heard a rumour that its developer hired a hacker to hack into Bram's (of Smartelectronix fame) computer in order to steal the source code for his Anechoic Room Simulator.
I heard that he indeed was successful and Invisible Verb Pro's DSP-code is 100% identical to that of Anechoic Room Simulator.
I was curious whether that was in fact true and to my surprise it really is - both plugins completely null! Can you believe that?

I did! Love it :) mostly for the otherwordly "wet" effects to spice stuff up.

I did skip on Delay because i find Timeless3 (90% of all my delays) + ColourCopy enough, although it does look nice

For effect reverbs and really interesting modulations, UberMod is also really good.

The (free) Space Modulator also has some interesting stuff within.

Freq Echo is also very good, i love Valhalla, all plugins, LOVE

I've owned vintage since it came out and it's been my main reverb since.

I never picked up room but should do - to be honest though with abletons reverbs and the Valhalla offerings i have; ubermod, supermassive, delay, I feel very covered. maybe sometime tho

Room, Raum, Supermassive work great with synths <3
Soft Knees - Live 12, Diva, Omnisphere, Slate Digital VSX, TDR, Kush Audio, U-He, PA, Valhalla, Fuse, Pulsar AUDIO, NI, OekSound etc. on Win11Pro R7950X & RME AiO Pro

I often use Room for big long dark super-modulated reverbs and VVV for tighter cleaner smaller spaces. Vintage Verb is especially versatile once you understand the nuances in the algorithms - like Size & Attack doing different things in (at least) Ambience, Nonlinear & Sanctuary modes.

I'm super happy with VVV and Valhalla Delay. Really not sure if it makes sense to get Room if you already have VVV. But when trying around with the demos, I immediately liked Valhalla Shimmer. It seems to be a bit less maintained and feature rich (no presets for me?), but it has a very nice sound that I also couldn't quite replicate with Valhalla Delay in shimmer modes.

So any suggestions here on what are indeed good complements?

I don't see that much overlap between VVV and Room.
Room does "real spaces" very well - much better than VVV imo.

Think of Room as actual space and VVV as a great digital space simulator.

Also i constantly use Room in 0% depth - ER only. It has great non-boxy ER. :)
