Pretty lazy of them to use the same name as ASS’s physical modelling VST and Multiphonivs module

To my ears it has the same sound produced by Resonans Physical Synth:
https://www.reasonstudios.com/shop/rack ... nthesizer/

In fact after listing closely, I'd swear that's 100% Resonans if it wasn't labeled differently.
In the interest of transparency, it's not built on Resonans. In fact the underlying technology is vastly different! Resonans is built off the open source work of Mutable Instruments, specifically utilizing Modal Synthesis. Objekt does have a simpler Modal resonator module but the main two resonators (Object 1 and 2) are completely different :)

The release is coming up, May 11th, and I can't wait to share more then!

Is the team the same that has done friktion? (if so, I know I will have to prepare my money...)

Is this the result of text to speech set to a wrong language? Just curious…
lol no.. ive just got a load of macros runing on my phone text. i'm strange and partially intentionally so
a lot of them are just jokes of some sort..

are there any physical or modal synthesis type things for kontakt? IS that even possible with kontakt? I'm not talking samples ... i've got really no idea what kontakt can really do even though i own it .. if its strictly a sampler or... well, that can't be the case.. but can there be actual synthesis happening within instruments / libraries? :harp:

Humanoid Sound Systems did a couple back in the day, including Scanned Synth Pro, which I still have somewhere on an old system. I believe that they did a successor to Scanned Synth that didn't stay around very long, as Humanoid Sound Systems folded altogether as I recall. Never did investigate the successor synth, although I vaguely recall that they were asking Scanned Synth users for name suggestions at one point.

Enzyme was the chosen name for the successor. Found that in an old email.

It has a unique way of scanning a sample by following the movements of some physical system (I forgot the model they chose), but the results were always harsh. I think a decent grain synth can do a better job in a similar domain. Even a sample FMed with itself sounds better to my ears.

That said, I bought a patch set from Julian Ray just for one amazing sound. The rest were only okay. But it's that one sound that I miss.
I started on Logic 5 with a PowerBook G4 550Mhz. I now have a MacBook Air M1 and it's ~165x faster! So, why is my music not proportionally better? :(
