I think right now it is just the Instruments quick icon selected. That opens the Category filter.

If I open the browser on an empty instrument track, the Quick Source does seem to be the active button, and the category filter is open.

The problem is on beta 6, once you cursor right on an instrument, say FM-4, you then have to do a cursor up before a cursor down will give focus to the preset list.

Then, once in the preset list, cursor left no longer returns you to the device list as it did under beta 5.

Are you saying that the beta 5 behaviour is still possible in beta 6? I’m probably being dim here, but I cannot see what extra steps I should take to replicate your setup!

Oh, my apologies. I only tried typing "FM", then down arrow to select FM-4, then left arrow to go to categories. You are correct, right arrow does not go back to the results column.

At least you can still get back there. When you are in filter section, typing 's' will put focus back on the search bar and then down arrow and you are back in the device list.

That's really usefull. Many times previously I had to go to the downloads folder to find out what was the exact name of the plugin I just installed.

I wish they would have allocated Browser (which was already good) development time to MIDI Comping, for example. But perhaps the new browser is needed for a more lucrative direction in the near future.
