I have a setup with the HY Sequencers. With them you can send midi cc to control parameters of plugins. I want to have the sequencer inside patchwork, to keep everything within the patch.
The problem is that than I can only control plugins that have midi learn. Lots of plugins especially effect plugins do not have midi learn.
The only solution to this problem, is to have the sequencer outside of patchwork, so that you send the sequencer generated cc's to the input of patchwork.
Could you make a midi route to the automation/midi control section of patchwork, almost like a midi loopback cable, so that you can set/select that as midi route from a plugin.
This way you could control all the cc assignment in patchwork from inside of patchwork too.

Unfortunately it is not easy to send MIDI messages from inside PatchWork to itself. You could however use an instance of PatchWork inside PatchWork to achieve the same result.
