Im interested in the IK bundle for the tape, reverb and mic modeling anything else that's a must since it looks like I'll be buying 20. I have a lot of PA console eqs and channel strip stuff already but interested in any opinions.

From a budget perspective, the smartest thing would be to choose all the expensive plugins, then get the rest at the lowest tier of the next Group Buy (which should only be a couple of months away).

Why do you think KVR member's opinion of a product naming matters? That's such an odd take. This isn't a democracy where KVR is the voting base and you're the state representative..Teksonik wrote: Thu May 04, 2023 11:35 pmThat may well be but what do you suppose 90% of KVR members think when they hear Model D?VitaminD wrote: Thu May 04, 2023 10:35 pmhttps://www.steinway.com/pianos/steinway/grand/model-d
D type Pianos have been around long before Robert Moog was even born.
When someone says Model D how many think of the pianos and not the Moog?
If anything, Type/Model D pianos have been around long before Moog was making Model D synthesizers. So if anyone should have their product name considered 'odd' it is Moog for reusing an already established name.

Why do you think it's worth your time to get upset because I think naming a piano plugin Model D in a market saturated with Moog Model D's is odd? It's just my opinion, get over it.VitaminD wrote: Fri May 05, 2023 12:21 am Why do you think KVR member's opinion of a product naming matters?
Certainly you can find something else more worthy of getting triggered by......

I use IK's "One" all the time. I think it's worth at least giving it a demo.Gavincoolguy wrote: Fri May 05, 2023 12:13 am Im interested in the IK bundle for the tape, reverb and mic modeling anything else that's a must since it looks like I'll be buying 20. Well so far you've made a claim that the naming is odd for a piano, due to your knowledge of a synthesizer of the same name, even though I've pointed out the piano came well before the synthesizer.Teksonik wrote: Fri May 05, 2023 1:40 amWhy do you think it's worth your time to get upset because I think naming a piano plugin Model D in a market saturated with Moog Model D's is odd? Then you doubled down on it by making a claim that 90% of KVR members would think only of the synthesizer, to support your claim that the name is odd for a piano.
Yet this involves logical fallacies you're making in you couldn't know 90% of KVR members. So you have no way to prove this claim. And, more importantly, your basing KVR members collectively for being the ruling judge on what is and is not 'odd' naming for an instrument. As if KVR is the judge on this.
Your initial statement was silly.

Is the group but something IK does or is it at JRR? Ive heard it mentioned before but don't really know what it is or if it's just IK stuff or who even puts it together.
