I installed the latest Melda, and MDownloader doesn’t run. It says it’s damaged. I have deleted it, restarted my computer, and reinstalled, and it’s the same thing. Has anybody seen this and know a fix?

Also tried using xattr on it and got a load of error messages about Pace Eden but it doesn't use Pace does it?

xattr -cr /Applications/meldaproduction/mdownloader.app

Please contact the support. There is some issue with the latest Apple's... well... thing... Working on it, well trying to since Apple's support is traditionally useless.. But afaik you can just "enable" it in security settings or something.

...check your "privacy and security" settings, and allow for dl's from unknown sources, you may then also get a popup that asks if you want to do it anyway...you may never be asked again about melda, but then again you may...hth.../s~
