Alternatives to Waves NX Series Plugins

Looking around for a plugin to facilitate mixing on headphones as my home studio has very poor acoustics. It seems that the Waves NX plugins, Germano, Ocean Way, Abbey Road are some of the best. However I'd like to avoid the WUP if possible. Which if any other plugins are equal to or better than the NX Series ?

This is my first go at 'home studio' recording btw, been a guitarist since the late 60's - bands and such - but never actually considered recording until now, other than a few 'Tascam 4 track demos'. With the advent of the latest tech it seems now is the time to put all those ideas down on 'tape'.

Thanks for the link Funky. I did read your thread though I was wondering if there were others that weren't mentioned or maybe something on the horizon.
