Midi Editor - Snapping Doesn't Work Right

Why can I only place notes at 1/4 note divisions in the midi editor? It doesn't matter what snap type I choose....

Why

the reason is simple
because you need to choose the size in the window to the left
len: 1/8 beat, for example
and another thing: if you click on a note with a certain length, then all your next created notes will be the same length. so if you have notes of different lengths, then just click on the one you need. this is convenient, since there is no need to open the drop-down menu.

That's the length of the note, not the snap value. And besides, I tried that just for the heck of it with the same result.

I started a new project, and the snapping works in the MIDI editor. Yet another Waveform bug.

Snapping is dependent of the zoom level. If you want to snap at 1/8s, just zoom in some more.
