This sounds great. I am intrigued by this company, two products and they are both winners from what I can tell.WatchTheGuitar wrote: Thu May 11, 2023 1:14 pm GAS time
just a prototype but a duophonic synth co-designed with the late Chris Huggett based on extensions of his Wasp and Oscar ideas.

I'd like one with the background 'U-he' image with all the nodes.

It really is. Zebralette 3 alone is going to blow away many payware synths, and I can’t even begin to imagine the power that Zebra 3 is going to unleash. BUTTTTTT, this is the hardware forum, so let’s discuss the t-shirt, OK?pdxindy wrote: Sat May 13, 2023 3:08 pm The new u-he slice editor is impressive. Quite a unique oscillator design.

That tool that imports WAVs and picks out different cycles from it is really clever!

Yeah... and that it is not just audio, but converting the waveforms to splines!foosnark wrote: Sat May 13, 2023 3:13 pm That tool that imports WAVs and picks out different cycles from it is really clever!

IF you are seriously considering this, though it certainly has its merits... the stereo version is only (cough) $150 more. Either way, here's some applications/use cases to validate your interestvurt wrote: Thu May 11, 2023 5:11 pmwell, that's what i meant![]()
that's bloody amazing!! think of a 4gb reel in morphagenewith loop points, and 10 reels per bank.
i think im definitely grabbing one.

i think im definitely grabbing one., which though specific to the stereo version, are nonetheless applicable in many instances to the mono version as well:

Nick getting right to the point; TBH, I'm kind of there these days, I only have so much time to fiddle about with stuff like that. Still, I'm looking forward to Zebralette, and I would definitely rock one of those t-shirts.

…and if I understood correctly, can then also be converted to MSEGs?

I sure hope the spline morphing works for MSEG's too!!cryophonik wrote: Sat May 13, 2023 3:29 pm…and if I understood correctly, can then also be converted to MSEGs?

And this is the kind of excitement that you can now start the clock to see me get excited about next year! I’m looking to start adding resampling in the mix of things via Morphagene (thanks Vurt for the suggestion - seems obvious, but needed the push).Shabdahbriah wrote: Sat May 13, 2023 3:41 pmIndeed.(aside) It has been at the top of my r.e.a.l.l.y.m.u.s.t.g.e.t.t.h.i.s! list for years, but last year I jumped on a killer deal for a new B-stock 1010 (v.1) for recording/playback, and within a few months or so justified two new, but nearly half-priced QU-Bit Wave(s) which are 4-channels of one-shot 16/44.1 players, though lacking 'start' and 'length' position selection and looping, which to me is a huge plus with either of the 4MS samplers. The bank selection also leaves much to be desired as its 'global' for all channels, but with 4-channels, of -4/+2 octave 'pitch', each with 4-banks, and 16 samples (unlimited length) per bank, running to and from effects via a QU-Bit Synapse... it does what I wanted to do.
