Downloaded the most recent version of the MFreeFXBundle. This is the first time I am downloading these units on my new computer. Running Ventura 13.0.1, Apple M1 Pro. The GUI in the plugin window appears shrunken, but the buttons seem to be in the normal place. This is what the MAutoPitch looks like. (https://imgur.com/nxrWheN) Any idea why this is happening?

Dear guyinroom,

Thank you for your feedback. We can clearly reproduce the issue and are currently working on a fix. It occurs under the new macOS on Apple silicon chips with a multi-screen setup, specifically with GarageBand and Logic Pro DAWs. In the meantime, we have some temporary solutions for this problem.

1. Start the DAW GarageBand in Rosetta mode, and it will work fine. This temporary fix is recommended at the moment.

or

2. Swap the displays in macOS settings. For example, make the primary display the one on the MacBook and the external display as the extended display. The issue occurs when the external display is set as primary. In other words, use GarageBand on the primary display in a multi-screen setup.

We are working hard to get rid of this issue. Please stay tuned, and I will inform you soon in this thread when the full solution is ready.

Rosetta mode works. Thank you for the fix and the timely response.

Dear guyinroom,

Just a quick update: we have identified and resolved the GUI plugin size issues on macOS Ventura when using multiple screens with Apple Logic Pro and GarageBand DAWs. The fix will be included in the upcoming release and will function properly without requiring Rosetta (native). Thus, we anticipate this problem will be permanently resolved, as I am currently unable to reproduce it anymore. :-)

However, we still have one outstanding issue with Apple (a bug present in macOS itself) specifically affecting Logic Pro and GarageBand. Therefore, we still recommend using Rosetta mode for these two DAWs until the issue is resolved.
