Could you do a little video of what you are doing?tommy1979 wrote: Sun May 21, 2023 7:19 pm New to moss and I am really struggling to get the drum machine to work correctly on my push 2, when i press pad a1 and then press any other pad it makes the note of a1 the length to that 2nd note, i can not figure out how to stop this behaviour, strangely it does not do this on drum 4 or drum 8 and i can program per pad as normal. Any help appreciated?

Quick question: I’ve been working on patching in proper graphic-display support for latest-gen NI devices by “talking” the undocumented NIHostIntegrationAgent protocol. (Not exactly the most fun reverse engineering.~)
Would an experimental version of this be worth me implementing/PR’ing? I have a proof of concept working in DrivenByMoss; but I’m not sure if there’s enough interest to make a full implementation worthwhile.

Dear Moss! Thank you very much for your work!
I use a Roland A300 Pro in CakeWalk, and try to use it in Bitwig 4.4. But I cant understand how to set it up for comfortable work.
Could you, please, upgrade the Bitwig script for Roland A300 Pro, if possible and included in your plans?
The script is here: viewtopic.php?t=418898

Gotcha -- thanks, I appreciate the response; and very much appreciate your project. ^^moss wrote: Mon May 22, 2023 6:01 pm Looks pretty cool! But I am afraid I do not have the time to support something like this at the moment.
(I understand super well that every feature added to an open source codebase comes with a ton of maintenance burden -- so I'm always happy to check rather than to write huge pull requests and dump them on folks.

Thank you for the response on editing clips in arrange mode. Too bad.
Right now when you select a note in the top row for this mode, you can change the gain but it applies to all the notes in the chord. I am requesting to be able to go from "C E G" to "C D G" using the bottom row of lights once I have selected a chord.
For the note editing I would like to clarify what I meant. In section Poly Sequencer Mode, section 7.5.3 of the manual, I would like to play a chord in the bottom row and assign it to the top as normal. Then I would like to select the chord any step I have programmed and have the aki fire give me visual feedback on the bottom rows for the notes that are assigned to this step.moss wrote: Wed May 17, 2023 10:13 amYou can activate the note edit mode (see the manual) to select notes.jekblad wrote: Wed May 17, 2023 1:57 am 2. I would love to be able to select a step in the top two rows of the Fire, and see the notes assigned to it. This way it is easier to program in the inversions, as you can see all the notes for any step you select. Right now selecting existing steps erases them. Also curious if this is a limitation of the API.

Since 5.0 beta 7, no mapped parameters are shown by the displays of Push1/SLMK3:
The displays should show up the parameters of the Organ visible in this screenshot, but they don't.
I use DrivenByMoss 20.2.1. In BWS 5.0 beta 6 it works.
UPDATE: It seems it happens only on existing projects, on new created ones it seems to work.

I have a Novation SL MK3. Sometimes the mapped parameters don't get displayed. It seems somewhat random. I think it has to do with the ability to have mapped parameters on the Project, Track, and Device level. When I can't see Device params (which I use the majority of the time), I can usually fix the problem by selecting the Track header (so that it highlights) and then selecting the Device header again. If I have mapped a Devices params and they are display correctly, and then I select Track or Project, the SL goes blank, because there are no parameters mapped at those levels.

I experienced crashes with the new Beta 7 with the Pop-up browser. With the native script for the Launchpad Mini MK3 I don't have any crashes but with DBM enabled it crashes reliably. Just wanted leave this message so anyone with the same problem may find this.
According to one other person on Discord this problem encompasses other extensions too.
I still have to time test this but for the moment Beta 7 is usable with DBM disabled (albeit not as fun as with DBM). Before, even clicking the '+' in the device panel was a guaranteed crash.

I am having consistent crashes in Beta 7, DBM 20.2.1. Several different situations, the simplest being loading a new project and clicking on the + button to add a track. The browser shows up for a moment and then BW crashes. pdxindy suggested removing extensions (DBM is my only extension) and the crashes stop. Adding the DBM back in causes crashes to return. I checked with DBM 20.1 and it still crashes. Ah, these growing pains. And thanks again for your incredible work!

Hello. Is it possible to interact directly with Bitwig's functions as in having a button in the Launchpad (Mini mk3) User page for saving a project ?
