Handy drums sounds the most realistic to me and I've got pretty much all of them.

[quotezerocrossing]Here Comes The Flood is one of the best songs of all times.[/quote]
Not sure if i agree on one of the best but really it's a matter of degree. i like it a lot and the other version on Exposure which i actually heard before i heard the og.

This is also the only one I use. I have 4 builds of it, the old ones sound cooler. It gets pretty crazy when you use square wave with toms.martiu wrote: ↑Sat May 27, 2023 1:19 am Extreme DrumSynth is the best

Not exactly an answer to your question, but there are other use cases where they come very handy. I produce music for indie videogames from time to time. Hiring a drummer and recording in studio is most times way over budget, and quite often too time consuming for the project scope.Boy Wonder wrote: ↑Tue Apr 11, 2023 9:46 pm The enduring popularity of acoustic drum plugins has always intrigued me. I say that because a lot of popular music uses drum machine sounds (mainly 808, 909, etc.), and bands use real drummers. Which recordings were released with acoustic drum plugins?
