I just watched this:

That's a nice feature that Dom shows. Can this be done with some of the current Melda plug-ins?

So, sidechain input 1 is controlling low frequencies, side chain 2 input the mids of a multiband EQ or compressor, preferable with separate settings for attack/release etc where applicable.

Best,

Yeah, I've thought this should be possible for awhile though idk if I've mentioned it. You can also do this with Waves F6 dynamic EQ afaik.

If I understand correctly, this is getting there:

In MDynamicEQ, there is a single side-chain but, for each EQ band, you can use a band-pass filter to select the frequency range to be used for detection.
Band-pass panel contains parameters of the band pass, which you can use to process the signal that is used measure level of the band additionally. For example, you may want a band at high frequencies to react to bass content; you can do this by placing the band anywhere on the high frequencies and set the low-pass at say 200Hz.

This would make my kick/snare/side ducking loom way cleaner. You could probably patch it up in Mxxx

Shame Live only has 1 stereo in for side chain
