Hi everyone!

First of all, many thanks to everyone who provided valuable feedback to make this release happen.

I'm very happy to announce the release of ARVerb Room 1.2.9, a reverb plug-in that uses physics-based modelling. Besides giving life to a single instrument, ARVerb Room can be used to glue multiple tracks by making them sound like they're in the same space. Track separation can be improved by selecting different locations for the source in different instances of the plugin. The plugin is fast and lightweight, minimal user interface only has a handful of musical controls, making the algorithm easy to set up.

As for the initial release, ARVerb Room does not require dongles, subscriptions, user accounts or internet access. The demo is fully functional during the evaluation period.

Enjoy!

Don't sleep on this. One of the very best reverb plugins ever.

That is an excellent demo video, and shows how carefully the parameter ranges have been chosen.

Great sounding reverb, nice and clean.

Looks interesting, will definitely give it a try when vst3 support is there.

Testing this atm. UI is mostly really good and easy to use. I wish one could kind of "drag" the "pan angle" and "distance" values, because it requires a lot of clicking to get where you want to (e.g. it needs 8 clicks to get the angle fully left. That gets boring really fast).
Sounds definitely nice and very usable!
What is a bit weird is the behaviour with hard panned signals, where I have the impression that the early reflections come from both left and right, but the reverb tail is just on the side where the panned signal is. Quite drastic if I put "diffusion" at 100%, then it is only coming from one side, whereas if I set "diffusion" to 0%, the resulting signal is equally strong in the left and right channel. This might be because of the true stereo processing, but I am not sure that I like it...

Note taken. Meanwhile you can use the mouse wheel, it might be faster than clicking on the buttons.

Let's face the shame: this is a bug that I missed, a serious one. Thank you for reporting it. I just fixed it and a new 1.2.10 release is available.

ARVerb Room has been updated to v1.5

Changes include:
  • AAX support (native Apple silicon), finally!
  • Improved algorithm (better diffusion, mono-compatibility, smoother parameters).
  • Improved user interface (better knob resolution, new drop-downs).
  • Fixed display of names, values, and units in parameter automations.
Many small fixes, tweaks, & optimizations, including reduced disk usage (by ~70%), and ... Windows 7 support :scared:

Updates are free.

Few asked how to reset an expired demo: here's are the tokens to do so (will expire in 30 days):
