add stock plugins vocoder, convolution reverb, mastering/glue compressor, to pro version.

add stock plugins flanger, frequency shifter, transient shaper, stereo imager(utility), to free version (and pro version).

add saturation as a type of distortion in the stock distortion plugin.

add frequency splitter plugin to racks to make anything multiband, like multiband distortion.

in racks make it so you have the option to switch between left and right wires, and one stereo wire. left and right wires aren't used that often and they are hard to work with while making complicated racks.

make tequalizer have more features like more bands, root note detection for perc/kick tuning, higher max Q. With the version 12 update tequalizer isn't really and upgrade from the stock eq plugin.

make it so you can select multiple bands on stock eq and scale them. also band with high Q value makes the tip glitch.

improve stock compressor and limiter plugins. they don't sound nearly as good as the kiloheart ones.

make it so you can duplicate multiple automation clips at a time.

I agree with the eq suggestion, as in maintaining one of them to a high standard. The other ideas are nice but there's heaps of free and paid alternatives.

Also, there is a crossover plugin already that you can multiband stuff with inside a rack (T-Crossover)

What I would like to see is an updated api and new keyboard shortcuts to keep up with the changes as they are made. Some people can probably write their own macros, I'm pretty useless at that.

An audio-to-midi feature would be awesome, right up near the top of my wish list. Imagine being able to sing a lead melody or bassline onto an audio track, and then convert that clip into midi notes...or load an mp3 clip of a solo classical flute or piano performance and see it transcribed into midi.

I know there are some third-party plugins that do this kind of thing, but a built-in feature would be so much cooler

At the moment, I have a completely negative attitude towards innovation, in Waveform. Although, I also think that integrated functions are better. But, this is not about Tracktion. Make a stable DAW. Everything else can be found or ordered privately. I'm still scratching my head how Traction hasn't broken the Chord function yet with all these innovations.

Waveform paid-for version used to come with a version of Melodyne, but I don't know if it was a version that would do audio-to-MIDI (I've had the full version of Melodyne longer than I've had Tracktion/Waveform, so I don't know). Perhaps someone else can answer that.
