I never have a problem sending midi over USB to my Novation Peak from Tracktion Waveform.
I have noticed one thing though: The synth needs to be powered up before you launch Waveform.

Also, make sure MPE is not active in the clips.
Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and even Deezer, whatever the hell Deezer is.

I have several hardware units and have never had the issue in Waveform. However, I've not yet used Waveform v12.5.
That said, I route all MIDI through my USB interface, not directly to devices.

OK, so again, thanks everyone for input, it's great to see it, as I feel like I'm slowly getting to the bottom of it. I've now installed 11.5 and Crave seems to be getting input from Waveform. HOWEVER... Input from Waveform seems to trigger sequencer. It looked the same in reaper when I asked for clock to be sent to Crave by Reaper. I'm not 100% sure, but it looks like a trouble in Waveform rather than anything else.
All these moments will be lost in time like tears in rain...

On the "MIDI Devices" page under the "Settings" tab, select the MIDI device you are using to output to the Crave and make sure "Send MIDI Timecode" and "Send MIDI Clock" are turned off in the panel along the bottom.

hey all, I'm new to this!
I got Korg Triton Extreme wondering how i can change the patches through software rather on keyboard itself.
I haven't found not even one clue online on how to add keyboard patch names to waveform!

Hardware or software version of Triton Extreme?gibbi26 wrote: Thu Jun 29, 2023 4:50 pm hey all, I'm new to this!

If software, you can't. Korg doesn't support this; the intention is that for every program you want to use, you create a new track, drop in the Triton Extreme plugin with the program selected, and arrange your MIDI clips accordingly.
If hardware, check this thread out: viewtopic.php?p=8639942#p8639942
Your success will vary based on the drivers you're using, and a fair amount of trial and error.
