Hi all, Is there any way to increase the volume of just the metronome, without increasing the volume of everything else? (I mean, beyond the level available as standard.). Thank you.

(1) Right click here

(2) Raise Volume here, or

(3) You can load your own sounds here.

If you want me to create some loud metronome sounds that you can use in (3) just let me know .

:)

// For step (3) make sure to place these sounds somewhere that you wont accidentally remove them on your file system //
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Mikoatkvr,
Making my own click sound seems to be the solution - thank you!

... or use something like MTDrummer as a loop - for simple 4/4 stuff anyway, as you can select something to play over that "feels natural". Then go back and either customize or remove that for something you really want.

Bummer, though, it only really does standard 4/4 type stuff.

You can create your own metronome track, in any time signature, just by looping a custom beat. You can choose a different pitch or sound for each beat to help you count--especially with odder time sigs. Just be sure to route its audio correctly so you don't accidentally record it into your audio.

Thanks, @Watchful. That's the method I ended up using. It's the routing the audio part that I find confusing, though. However, so far, I haven't noticed the track recording accidentally into my audio. Perhaps that's because I use 'phones when using this method, and of course, I mute the track when rendering.

Then you're fine! The risk otherwise is forgetting that the metronome track goes out over the master bus, and if you render the whole project, you also render the clicks! Glad this is helping you.
