HY Slicer 2 Rumors

I contacted hy-support with some questions and got a response directly.

I suggested a timestretch option for samples, but there are no plans to add this at the moment, because the dev does not know how to do that.

But the next update will have a midi pattern trigger feature, so we can trigger patterns via midi notes.

I hope this means we can trigger just the slices via midi too.
Seems a waste not to be able to do that with a slicer like this.

That's not true. "you don't need to have multiple licenses.

As far as you install it to your own computer,

you can use the same license."

A midi timestretch would give nice contrasting results on a midi section slicer.

We can understand a purchased license is worth a usable license, if not so much the better.
On two PCs belonging to me, I can therefore use the same license?

With the new features Hy-Slicer2 is the best in it's field, at least in my view.

Much more feature rich than "Loopmix" from Audiomodern and others and also very important:
No "Dongle- C/R- ware" like this Loopmix.
If a person knows how to use it musical then it can be very inspirating.

Big fan of HY plugins.

Just got HY-RPE2 and it's exactly what I've been looking for and then some.

Slicer 2 is brilliant.

A really quick an musical way of extracting sounds from loops.

New Sonic Arts Vice is also really good but doesn't have a sequencer.

Loopmix is really fiddly. No real way of editing the loops.

Slicer 2 is a beatmakers dream. Unfortunately it crashes Bitwig 5 (Win10) pretty often.
