Stem separation comparison with Cubase

Without any further ado: The Waveform's stem separation is MILES AHEAD from Cubase!
Longer version: I finally got to the new Waveform, and this was the first thing I wanted to put into the test. I was expecting that Cubase's algorithm would be better (since 30 years of history, premium software, much more expensive, and so on, you know the stuff... ). But no. Although you can adjust few parameters in Cubase, the Waveform's 'hardwired' algorithm is simply better even without any additional tweaking.
Plus: If you don't pay an extra fee, Cubase can separate only voice and the rest. Unlike Waveform.
I just wanted to let you know... ;-)

Thank you! How do you know it? I wondered what technology stood behind the feature. I didn't suppose it was written by Tracktion...

... and if there is a VST version?
And yes, this feature may not be perfect (bat can I expect more?), but is really great. At the moment I am using it every day.

Looked in the Stem Separation extension folder.

I think an ARA plugin only makes sense.

You'd probably need time travel to get yourself a CPU that can split stems in real-time.
Surely there must be consensus by now...

I believe, they're preparing a CUDA version for use with GPU. It could be possible then.
