That instrument is pretty difficult to play consistently. Had to record, opening a song with one for 8 bars! I think I got it on the 5th take, but it was brutal since it needed to be perfect.D-Fusion wrote: Mon Jun 26, 2023 12:27 pm I am new to Hw instruments and this will be my first one
I said i wanted a versatile synth and the seller recommended this:
How awesome is it to have three whole corners to play on for maximum Versatility.
I think the seller really knew what he was talking about and steered me in the right direction![]()

A cowbell hanging in the middle of the triangle would be the ultimate polychain setup for maximum eargasm on each hitWatchTheGuitar wrote: Mon Jun 26, 2023 1:02 pm I’m still trying to work out how to get one from a cow.

I don’t like the word eargasm as my mind instantly goes to the ensuing liquid mix.D-Fusion wrote: Mon Jun 26, 2023 2:01 pmA cowbell hanging in the middle of the triangle would be the ultimate polychain setup for maximum eargasm on each hitWatchTheGuitar wrote: Mon Jun 26, 2023 1:02 pm I’m still trying to work out how to get one from a cow.![]()

The triangle is a true Zen instrument. Looks like the Noisy Cricket - but is damn difficult to master.elxsound wrote: Mon Jun 26, 2023 1:19 pm That instrument is pretty difficult to play consistently. Looks awesome
Is it some kind of ambient drone synth?

It's a 4-part generative arp/MIDI controller for synths. It sends out four different parts, one for pads, one for drones, and two separate "motifs", which are basically highly configurable arps. It's designed for generating new ideas/noodling, hence the name NDLR.
Here's a brief intro from their prototype stage:
