I saw an interesting cross-platform track count test on YouTube where James Zhan got consistently up to 20% more tracks in Reaper, with CPU-heavy plugins, even running in Rosetta, than in Logic or Live on both M2 Pro and M1 Max chips.



The CPU activity meter showed all cores getting equal use in Reaper, while the other two seemed to focus on the performance cores only.

Just curious, has anyone done a similar test for Waveform? Is it set up to take advantage of efficiency cores in the same way?
