I think I wanted the voice to blend more with the drums and synths in that section, but I see what you mean. I like the example of the wide vocal doubling on the Kimbra video, although for my taste the timing offset(feels long, like 200–400 milliseconds) makes the mix slightly muddled. But then again it is big.

I'll play around with it. I do have a layer of the vocal with Waves ADT, but I have a reverb after it that is 95% wet, maybe taking it down to around 50% in some sections would allow for more defined side info?

it is just a suggestion or an inspiration for a follow-up track (or similar). something to think about - or to forget about :)
it is better to have a track with some mistakes than a track without any soul

I loved the vocal, and thought that it came through the mix clearly and without clashing with the bass. I just replaced my 13-year old Rokit5 speakers with a pair of Classic 5s 'cos I'm used to the KRK sound and this track sounded good here. I can hear more of your ambient "curiosity" coming to the fore in this piece

Good work :)

The version I listened to sounds good. Lovely vocals and the synths are cool.
Well done!

- and thus mental images. Well done, I like it a lot! :tu:
Cheers enroe! I always appreciate your feedback.

Wow! The vocals are amazing - the singing and mix. I like the piano part and sound a lot and how it morphs into something else. What piano did you use? The percussion and synth parts are very interesting - great choice of sounds.

Thanks Jcub. The piano is VSL Bösendorfer Imperial starting with the Intimate setting with just some minor adjustments, and then some saturation from SSL X-Saturator and then some more saturation and high end taming with BX Refinement.

Thanks synthesizer looks interesting and going to read up on this.

How do the voices work if used in a commercial release? Assume if you buy the voice it is OK to use but have not seen any clarification on this area so far.

You can use it in commercial releases you're just supposed to credit Synthesizer V and the voice as the singer.

Thanks seismic1. Yeah, who knows? I may be on my way to no drums and nobody speaking to me anymore
