I think I wanted the voice to blend more with the drums and synths in that section, but I see what you mean. I like the example of the wide vocal doubling on the Kimbra video, although for my taste the timing offset(feels long, like 200–400 milliseconds) makes the mix slightly muddled. I'll play around with it. I do have a layer of the vocal with Waves ADT, but I have a reverb after it that is 95% wet, maybe taking it down to around 50% in some sections would allow for more defined side info?
