MFreeFormEqualizer Multiparameters

Hi!
As some other plugins like MFreeFormPhase, MFreeFormEqualizer can´t have Multiparameters (MP) if used as a plugin.
Both plugins can have MP if used in MSF for example. Or even MSpectralDynamics EQ can use MP, so technically it is possible.
So why is that?
Are there any plans to make them as free as they were named?
Thank you!!

Hi, the reason is that most of the parameters are NOT supposed to be automated or anything, because of the huge CPU power & delay they could require.

But they do the job perfectly well within MSoundFactory or MSpectralDynamics's EQ, with no apparent CPU cost...MeldaProduction wrote: Mon Jun 05, 2023 10:45 am Hi, the reason is that most of the parameters are NOT supposed to be automated or anything, because of the huge CPU power & delay they could require.
It would be very nice to be able to use multiparameters there.
This feature of Meldaproduction cannot be missing here

Actually they don't - try using say a noise, open MFreeformEqualizer as minimum phase in MXXX and modulate some of these. You'll here what I mean.

Mmmm...In this MSF preset for example I can modulate 2 MFreeFormEqualizer and 1 MFreeFormPhase with noise without problems... Better: It is perfect (in both Minimum or linear phase)MeldaProduction wrote: Wed Jun 07, 2023 11:55 am Actually they don't - try using say a noise, open MFreeformEqualizer as minimum phase in MXXX and modulate some of these. It may seem like it, but that's just because it's kinda "hidden" using some clever crossfading. But in fact whatever you do, takes effect at an unknown moment in the future. Here you can already imagine the problems when rendering...

So you don´t recommend doing it in MSoundFactory version of the plugins or in MSpectralDynamics EQ even if it works well?MeldaProduction wrote: Mon Jun 26, 2023 1:32 pm It may seem like it, but that's just because it's kinda "hidden" using some clever crossfading. I wouldn't do that. If you do, make sure you use realtime rendering.

Thank you for your reply Vojtech!MeldaProduction wrote: Mon Jul 03, 2023 11:26 am I wouldn't do that. If you do, make sure you use realtime rendering.
It's a bit sad because I don't know any other plugins that have multiparameters (or free curve editing) and I could have used it a lot, not really to automate things, but to create different banks with multiparameters, for example in MFreeformPhase to recreate the famous Disperser and other equalizers. I guess I'll have to settle for it.
PS: My DAW does not have realtime rendering haha

If you want to recreate disperser I recommend just using one of the normal eqs and setting each band to all pass. I think I shared some presets a while back for some Melda eqs for exactly this.
I have used freeform phase for this too, but you get the pre ringing that you wouldn't get in disperser, so it's a slightly different sound anyway
