Anyone knows how to build it for macOS ?

Thanx
I see you already made a build, but for the record, this repo builds the most reliable version right now in my perception: https://github.com/eventual-recluse/LiveCut

when it works it works perfect...but mostly in flstudio it mutes the sound :(

Are you on Mac or PC? I'm on Mac (Big Sur). And - did you try adding Livecut in a new or existing project?

I just built Livecut using the repo linked in the post above yours and it seems to work on new projects in Ableton and Bitwig. However in existing Bitwig projects the audio just dies and I have close and reopen the project. I haven't yet tried an existing Ableton project.

FWIW, I've submitted an issue with the dev so hopefully they'll take a look at the issue.

Yeah, in Gig Performer too. Was working well on a couple things, was really enjoying it and then turned it on yesterday and it muted the audio. I wonder what is up with that?

I've since experienced the same behaviour in new projects too. There's some odd stuff going on that's for sure, Livecut appears to kill the audio further down the chain on the same channel which is a certain kind of something I've never seen in 20 odd years of making computer noises.

Eventual-recluse has updated their repo with a fix for the audio cutting out. Seems like it's working well now, worth a look if you were having issues with the previous release.

Huge thanks to Smojphase and Dave Dove (for making the video that popped up in my search, and saving me from my much-feared MacOS Terminal!) for LiveCut.

I really really really (and I mean really) missed having this lovely little VST.

Have any of you magicians found a version of SupaTrigga by any chance?

Cheers!

So what's the status? Is anyone able to actually use it in Ableton 11/12 on Mac? I tired building it but It doesn't show up in my plugins..

Hi there,
Thanks so much to whoever re-created LiveCut for Mac, it works perfectly on my Mac M1pro (UA Luna DAW). I'm a musician but a total noob in terms of coding: to all devs out there, would there be any way to have the exact same plugin but with the original old school graphic interface (https://static.kvraudio.com/i/b/livecut.gif (https://static.kvraudio.com/i/b/livecut.gif)) ? Meaning, every graphic detail+fonts? I would greatly appreciate even a small hint about where to go from here, I just need this!!
Cheers

This is great! Mac version!
I couldn't get it to show in ableton, anyone know if I need to do any terminal command for it to work??

Thanks!!

i managed to keep the vst3 settings in reaper by arming/writing all parameter envelopes. project save didnt work, preset save didnt work, but this kept things. in general reaper envelope automation seems fine, so maybe that's a better workflow for nondestructive vst3
