Thanks!Vikingbear wrote: Sat Apr 01, 2023 9:59 pm What a great little plugin! I recently got Pianoteq- fantastic!! being able to call up pianoteq, put some space echo and reverb on it- maybe a subtle univibe.... save it, and then just enjoy the playing without opening a DAW? perfect!!
then, if I write something worth recording... open up Logic, call up patchwork....boom! theres my same sound just were I want it. cheers!

Just to poke the bear a little...I show the release date as November 12, 2013. At least, that's when I got the announcement email. Is April when development began maybe?
That said, what a great 10 years of steady development. Thanks!

That's right, the official release was at the end of 2013. There are still a couple of months to add more features before PatchWork really gets oldFunkybot's Evil Twin wrote: Thu Apr 06, 2023 9:05 pm That said, what a great 10 years of steady development. Thanks!

Apps get really snarky and uppity when they become teens, and you have to have "the talk" with them, too. Enjoy the apps age while you can!Blue Cat Audio wrote: Thu Apr 06, 2023 9:09 pmThat's right, the official release was at the end of 2013. Heads Up!
A free update for Blue Cat's PatchWork (2.66) is now available, check it out!
This new version brings a couple of improvements for macro parameters and MIDI control, as well as a few fixes. The full list of new features is available below.
The free update can be downloaded from the same location as the original full version (link received by email upon purchase). Demo versions are available on www.bluecataudio.com in most plug-in formats (and as a standalone application) for Mac and Windows PC.

What's New in PatchWork 2.66:
- Drag and drop macro parameters to change order / insert / copy.
- Macro Parameters & params assignments can now be saved and copied/pasted.
- The "Remove" macro command now removes the currently selected macro parameter instead of the last one.
- Macro LEARN mode is now disabled automatically when the Params Map Editor is closed.
- AAX plug-in now reports the recording status to hosted plug-ins (in recent versions of Pro Tools that support it).
- Synchronize multiple MIDI controllers: when "all channels" (0) is used for MIDI input control and "send MIDI events when parameters values change" is active, the plug-in now sends MIDI events to all other channels.
- Updated parameters layout for GUI-less plug-ins to accomodate plug-ins with multiple parameters.
- GUI-less plug-ins generic editor now follows PatchWork's zoom level.
- Improved plug-in loading time.
- Fixed a crash when opening the editor of a VST2 GUI-less plug-in that uses non-unicode encoding in its parameters (piz-midi plug-ins).
- Fixed plug-in slots display issue on Mac OS 10.9.
- Fixed plug-in slot menu issues when loading plug-ins with more than 22380 parameters on Windows.
System requirements:
- Intel or M1 Mac running Mac OS 10.9 or newer.
- Windows PC running Windows Vista or newer.
Pricing:
Blue Cat's PatchWork: 99 EUR or $99
Enjoy!
