That characterization makes no sense to me. I have hundreds of different types and sizes of drill bits for various situations. I never find myself sitting there "endlessly" using lots of them without purpose. Having lots of modulation tools in my Bitwig toolbox is similar. The ParSeq-8 modulator is a particular tool that does stuff otherwise not easily done. I'm happy it's in the toolbox and when I am not using it, it is no kind of burden.
but if you do, enjoy picking the right one for the job at hand. No question about it. I manage with less tools in producing more (I’m guilty of many tools on my long music journey but I have a large closet full of them and I’m keeping the door locked).
