if I will do mac os clean install. do i need deactivate sylenth1 before format disk and activate after newly installed?

I don't know about Sylenth, but it's recommended to deactivate EVERYTHING before a clean install.
iLok or most other kind of authorization system (Arturia, Softube, Audiothing, Plugin Alliance etc. etc.) don't recognize a clean install as the same computer, so if you have a limited number of activations it's absolutely necessary to de-activate everything.

Hi,

On MacOS is it not a requirement, however we still recommend you do, just to be sure (especially if you install a different version of macOS).

On Windows it is required to deactivate before re-installing the OS though.
