For what it's worth, I have both the Roland Juno plugins, the TAL Juno, and the Softube. The Softube is by far my favorite.
If we're talking Jupiter, TAL wins for me.

Honestly, my favorite Juno plugin right now is Air's Jura. Having a solid Juno 60/106 emulation running on my MPC and Force in standalone is freak'n awesome.

How do you even know what's subjective and what's objective?
[/quote]
It's subjective.

Your opinion that my opinion is subjective, is subjective. You've just confirmed this.
But my opinion that Tal's Juno sounds better than RC is OBJECTIVE. My opinions are objective because they are based on sensory perceptions.
Yours are subjective because you decided to ignore objective reality.

It's been over a year since their last ACB offering, I agree that a bit of news would be most welcome. There seem to be a lot of people here who would like to see a JX-8P. Personally I'd rather see an Alpha Juno, but since they share the same filter I would imagine when we see one, we'll probably see the other as the next release. Maybe. I hope.ToddlerTN wrote: Wed Jul 19, 2023 6:33 pm So here we are in the middle of Roland’s biggest annual cloud promo, and there’s zero news or buzz or even a hint at anything to look forward to in the upcoming year? At least try and sell me. I’d settle for a promise to fix the XV-5080 patch display bug.

Sire, ain't you a philosopher! A real phenomenon! And we have latest from China... wait for it... They say Confucius rolled in his grave and unleashed a 3 thousand year old fart he's been holding, as he rejoiced he's finally met his match! They haven't seen fireworks like that go off in years and, mind you, that's China we're talking about.frag wrote: Wed Jul 19, 2023 9:51 pm Your opinion that my opinion is subjective, is subjective. I’m simply expressing my surprise that Roland is running their biggest promo of the year while doing so little to generate excitement and attract/retain customers. I already own a few Roland Cloud instruments outright. I’ve also got Loyalty keys to burn. Nothing new was offered last year, and I don’t see much reason to renew my Ultimate during P4L just to earn more keys and continue my Roland Cloud Ultimate subscription if there’s nothing new coming in the next year. I’m looking for a reason to give them another $200. If there is anything new coming this year, this would be a great time for Roland to talk about it.Atlatnesiti wrote: Thu Jul 20, 2023 12:06 amSo what was the point of this? Crickets so far. If it’s still the case by August 8th then they’ve made a mistake.

It's my objective perspective that you have no idea how to properly quote someone in a basic Internet forum.frag wrote: Wed Jul 19, 2023 9:51 pm My opinions are objective because they are based on sensory perceptions.

Hey everyone! Jon from Roland Cloud here.
Thank you so much to all the Roland Cloud Roundtable participants. It was so great to interact with some of our community members face to face and have an open discussion about the future of Roland Cloud. We learned so much from the wide variety of workflows and opinions that were shared and we are very much looking forward to doing another one soon.
That being said, if you missed this event and would like to attend a Roundtable in the future, please comment here and we’ll reach out to you for the next one!
We appreciate all of your feedback and support.
As always, feel free to reach out to me anytime with questions or concerns you may have.

Hi Jon,Jon at Roland wrote: Thu Jul 20, 2023 10:46 pm As always, feel free to reach out to me anytime with questions or concerns you may have.
A few pages back many of us asked several questions about the Loyalty Keys suddenly being set permanent to an instrument, without any prior notice. Many of your most loyal users are now stuck with instruments we didn't understand would be forever, someone had even wasted two lifetime keys on SRX expansions because of this.
If you somehow missed all this: We kindly request that we are given a chance to carefully select which instruments we really want, would that be possible? A simple way would be to revert to the old behavior for a limited time. Yes? No?

some companies tend to ignore/try to not reply to uncomfortable questionsvictoria wrote: Fri Jul 21, 2023 12:48 amHi Jon,Jon at Roland wrote: Thu Jul 20, 2023 10:46 pm As always, feel free to reach out to me anytime with questions or concerns you may have.

why does a company switch to unfirendly userservices at all if the users are the highest priority?
not saying that roland does it, just saying "some companies" do it
