I cannot comment on all companies. I can say that development at u-he has not slowed to a crawl. Whatever technical debt is there, they handle it and keep coming up with fresh new capabilities. I'm as big fan of U-He. I even wrote some of the stock presets for it. The point remains though, other developers like U-He do experience technical debt that slows things to a crawl
It is a stark contrast to NI on the synth and fx side.
