I am disappointed with NI’s development of Massive X and other plugins

I own Native Instruments software that needs some love.

Sorry, I dont have someone else's meme or GIF to reply with and Im fresh out of "AI" to do it for me, showing a young child shouting at an adult about how they are too old to understand things. Maybe I should write an official letter to NI about this?

see i was looking at it like a relationship between two parties.
when one party stops doing the things the other enjoys, and you grow apart.

you can stick together and rehash the same old argument daily and be miserable, or move on with your life (choose a new brand) or you could stalk and harass them with complaints till the new partner of theirs ends up poking you in the eye or something equally painful.

im no good with analogies though, always veer off at the end.
I mean you quoted me, so it sounds like you are talking to me, but Ive spent the last 20 years complimenting, recommending, and being happy with NI, including in a professional environment I managed at a large S&E venue in Norcal, which is why Ive slowly spent something like...... $2000 with them. Did you think I spend all my time doing this, even when this is a very recent development that has frustrated me? Im not rehashing anything, and I was loathe to see NI move in this direction. This is me reaching my limit of frustration.

Its certainly a good thing we have threads like these in which to share our authentic opinions about the brands who desperately want our time and money.

Just reacting-- with an ageist meme you probably found via image search algorithm, lol, in order to try to discredit the actual anger of NI's customer, me. Thanks for that though.

I use a galaxy of instruments, plugins, tools, and a couple DAWs. I, too, value new features and options, yadda yadda. Yes.

you don't need the word 'authentic'; everyone's opinion is authentic,valuable. and ALL companies, brands, developers... want our money; that's the whole point.

forums are a great place to discuss, vent.. whatever. but if you want to fix something, you have to reach out directly to the company, brand, or developer. venting on a forum may be therapeutic, but doesn't actually fix the issues that made you angry in the first place.

no was just following on from my previous comment, explaining why i saw it different is all.
as i said, the thread is rehashing the same things the other threads did, not individuals within the thread (although many are the same :hihi: )

and again, not you, but one common theme seems to be, the same people, coming back, to tell us they uninstalled everything.
which lead to my comment about harassing an ex once it's over.
they say they've moved on, but clearly they have not.

that said, we are on the same page with regards not being happy with the current offerings and missing the great old stuff.
i just cba going on about it after the first 200 threads had no effect :lol:
i moved on, to new partners so to speak, and have never been happier :ud:

Thanks for explaining that, lol. Sorry, Im multitasking a bit here and possibly misread your tone. Ive been basically a brand manager for NI for 20 years and it hurts me to turn on them like this.

I hope NI sees that people are starting to believe they dont care, regardless of how many lengthy, passionate threads exist about it all. I genuinely hope something changes, but I have no problem moving on if it comes down to it.

at this moment, there are 84 people who own NI software and think it needs 'more love'. only 7 people so far don't own any NI software. how is NI losing money exactly? hmmm
