I'm new to Waveform, i just installed the free version last week, today I tried out the free trial to find out, if it makes sense to me, to buy a license.
There are some really neat features in the pro version, but actually I've got some issues with some of these.
In this post, I wanna talk about controlling plugin parameters via macro parameters, which you can create in the properties tab of a plugin:
When I create a macro parameter for the Drum Sampler to control all pitch parameters of each pad at th same time, i first assign the macro parameter to all the pitch knobs via the search function in the macro parameters tab. I set the range to 0-100%, offset to -50% and value to 100% for each knob assignment. This seems to work fine on the first view, but whenever I change one of the pitch knobs values on the plugin UI, it won't update in the macro parameters assignments, so when i tweak the macro knob, the value jumps back immediately to the previous value (when it was assigned first to the macro parameter).
When I the change the value of the assigned pitch knob inside the macro parameters tab, it updates immediately in the plugin UI too and works fine. But this is annoying and confusing, am I missing something?
This behavior occurs in each vst instrument, which i tried out, but for example the built-in waveform compressor works without issues as expected.

BTW, this occurs on both of my os, linux mint 21 and windows 11.
